What magazine for teens?

I have 4dds of preteen/teenage. They want me to buy Vogue Magazine. I was obsessed with magazines at their age. In my country of Bortj? I loved Dolly, and later Cleo and Cosmo. As an adult I brought vogue and Elle, but not regularly.

I think maybe in the U.K. 17 was the teen magazine? Vogue is cheap on subscription, but I ca’t help think that it is pointless at their age - are there any other fashion magazines That are more age appropriate?

There isn't really any. Magazines for teenagers in the UK has pretty much died out. There is a couple aimed at the 9-13 age group but to be honest there isn't much to them or there are a few that are more about mindfulness type things (Teen Breathe is one). I was a magazine and comic obsessed teen but they are all gone now.

The only 2 left in the pre teen age group are Shout and Top of the Pops.

Not really fashion magazines but general pre teen stuff.

Heat? It has a fashion section, make up/ what's on TV, as well as all the celeb bumpf?

Which part of Vogue is pointless? It’s a constantly evolving aesthetic manifesto, not a catalogue. Your daughters aren’t expected, or expecting to, rush out and buy exactly what they see therein.

Honestly, for everyday shopping guidance they’ll use things on the Internet I know nothing about. That’s not the purpose of Vogue.

(Which I’ve been reading ceaselessly since I was about 14 …)

I think Vogue is a great choice for teenagers! It's much better than the nonsense that I read at their ages.

I think it is probably too ‘grown up’ for preteens and young teens. Genuinely, they believe that everyone wears these labels. Don’t get me wrong, I am v fashion conscious, always have been, but I feel it is too old and more realistic to have people more their age to follow. Wasn’t sure if I was missing a trick though, because I didn’t grow up in the U.K.

Seems like Pinterest fills the gap of fashion mags now.
