I was expecting a fisherman's jumper; a long wool coat ... but actually these are much better Grin I hope Vogue continues to devote pages and pages to expensive impractical nonsense for both sexes. Equality at last Grin

He looks out past his bedtime.

😆😆😆
I honestly laughed out loud! He really does! Seems out of place with some clothes missing.

1forAll74 · 17/01/2022 20:29

They should have got a few paunchy bald headed and squat guys to model these creations, to show that these are wearable for any guy..
And is this the winter collection.. maybe not, as fashion places are all ahead with the seasons clothes.

ComeOnSpringtime · 17/01/2022 20:30

No 2 reminds me of that Smallville show guy from the early 2000s.

OverByYer · 17/01/2022 20:31

Is it April 1st?

Guineapigssweak · 17/01/2022 20:33

No men I've ever known would be seen wearing those clothes!!! Even Freddy would have been shocked lol

ComeOnSpringtime · 17/01/2022 20:34

@RobertSmithsLipstick

Yep. He looks like he needs a good dinner. Bless his little cotton socks.
😅 Chanelling Oliver Twist?

Poor no 3.

Someone wrote "the knees on him". I'm torn between laughing and feeling sad/guilty.

That's what I was thinking too!

I really don’t think it’s straight women that men who might actually consider wearing this stuff would be trying to attract. The fashion industry is run by gay men, after all.

ComeOnSpringtime · 17/01/2022 20:41

@Immunetypegoblin

Is it all some sort of deliberate attempt at satire? I mean, it's showing up the ridiculousness of women's 'sexy clothes' wonderfully. One can't help but wonder if the designers are secretly feminists Grin
I wish! That would be great but knowing the society we live in, one can only hope.

Still wondering what "sexy" really means tbh and if everyone means it the way I think it's supposed to mean, which is why I don't use it because I don't see anyone - no matter how beautiful/handsome I think they look - and feel that they look good enough to have sex with or that I'd like to have sex with them.

Yes, him! Thanks @SpacePotato. Had to google as I never remember his name.

HandlebarLadyTash · 17/01/2022 20:50

If 'sexy' clothes on women accentuate the boobs/bum then I think the male equivalent would be decorative codpieces.

Rno3gfr · 17/01/2022 20:51

I actually like the fact that men are now being subjected to the same level of objectification that women have experienced since the dawn of time...I’m a bit of a sour grape though

Rno3gfr · 17/01/2022 20:52

@HandlebarLadyTash completely agree Grin

Joolsin · 17/01/2022 20:56

No 1 looks like he's just been woken by a delivery guy ringing the doorbell, thrown on what turned out to be his girlfriend's summer pyjamas and ran downstairs cos no time to change.

Iamclearlyamug · 17/01/2022 20:58

What on earth have I just seen 😂😂😂

AgathaAllAlong · 17/01/2022 20:58

Yeah, it's sexy to gay men, not to straight women. In the same way that a woman in those things would be sexy to a straight man.

Numbers 1 and 2 look pretty good I think. I think you’ve got to extrapolate a bit. Women’s catwalk fashion always looks OTT as well. I think an attractive man in what is conventionally deemed ‘feminine’ or ‘sexy’ clothes is pretty hot.

BordelDeMerde · 17/01/2022 21:11

No. 4 is Lil Nas X, isn't it? I have a completely unreasonable crush on him.

Thirtytimesround · 17/01/2022 21:12

Well the two on the left look like they’ve escaped from zombies in a B-movie, the next guy looks embarrassed that he borrowed his sister’s clothes and I don’t even know what’s going on with the final outfit.

Culturally, though, this is interesting to me. A small number of very rich people keep pushing for gay subculture to become mainstream culture and this is yet more of that. None of these clothes would ever be sexy to a woman. Sexy clothes for men that appeal to women already exist and you can find them on fireman /soldier / James Bond type calendars etc.

This is about making gay subculture mainstream. Yawn.

Brilliant!

Thanks for shantung @HandlebarLadyTash

Sort0f · 18/01/2022 01:07

I find all of those pretty attractive, in a “comfortable enough in his masculinity to wear traditionally feminine clothes” kind of way. Reply specially 1&2, who are the same model I think.

Not everyone could pull it off, but that’s true of clothes for women on the catwalk.

But then I am bi and have always liked a bit of ambiguity. Starts with guylinwr.

Giggorata · 18/01/2022 08:40

No 2 looks as though his bandages have come undone.

No 3 looks as though he has caught a stray thread on a nail and unravelled his top, like in a cartoon

Pickachew and Joolsin have nailed the other two.
