O I really hope someone is online right now 😭
So my 3 month old is formula fed, I have just gotten up at 1.30am to do a bottle and all my water Is off !! I had no letter or warning 😭
There is water in the kettle but it's already been boiled and I know they say don't use twice boiled water
My nearest all night garage is far enough away and I don't drive , my local Asda used to be 24,7 but now it closes at 10pm , can I use the water boiled again this one time or should I try and get some fresh water , she's crying for a bottle and I really don't want to wake anyone up and ask them to bring me water , also most of my family and friends live within the same estate so they are probably in same situation , my only other option is too wake both my baby and 6 year old up get in a taxi and get bottled water , with a screaming hungry baby, I've tried to ring a few people to ask but they are not answering as they are probably sleeping please help I'm worried thank u

As a one off I would reboil the kettle and use that water. The problem with reboiling water is that it concentrates the minerals in it, which could be harmful if it was happening regularly but as a one off should be ok.

Use the kettle water. It will be fine as a one off.

Hope you get sorted soon.

Just saw this but if it happens again, there are schemes for those who register due to vulnerabities/young children etc. And the water companies will provide you with bottles water in the event the water is cut off , prewarn if water is going off etc

Take a look at the website for your water company and register as a just in case :)

Btw, the boiling of water is just a super precaution Smile in the UK (I'm assuming you're in the UK) tap water is good quality! Yes, you should take all precautions because the alternative is not nice...... but using it in an emergency should be ok. Just keep an eye on your baby Wink tummy problems, throwing up,.... then obviously call 111 or the GP
