I've got a few things that I know I can always turn to in times of crisis for guaranteed instant good mood and belly laughs:

  • Chris Pratt doing the TOWIE accents on Graham Norton.
  • Professor Kelly's children walking in on his BBC interview.
  • The Derry Girls Catholics vs Protestants blackboard.

What are yours?

@IsntItIronicDontchaThink (fellow Alanis fan here) no, it was real apparently. I watched it thinking the two people being interviewed MUST have been actors but they were genuine. Unbelievable. But hilarious.

LouLouLou37 · 13/01/2022 22:35

Celebrity Big Brother - David's dead.
The Chase - Bradley Walsh crying with laugher at the answer Fanny Schmeler

Fringellacoelebs · 13/01/2022 22:36

Elton John singing I'm Still Standing for that charity video introduced by the Beckhams. Funniest thing I've seen in years!

Elvis uncontrollably laughing during a recording - can't remember which song but Wogan used to play it sometimes and it's just lovely and so infectious.

Most of Only Fools and the US office. Dwight's Hitler speech really got me!

Fringellacoelebs · 13/01/2022 22:38

Oh and Niles and his flour baby!

littlepetit · 13/01/2022 22:39

The clip from years ago where the wrong man is interviewed on bbc news

fratellia · 13/01/2022 22:39

Charlie the unicorn

Scautish · 13/01/2022 22:41

@Squiff70

It’s not real - It’s a parody show - a quick internet search confirms this.

I’m glad it’s not real as I would find it in really poor taste to laugh at a disability. Even as a parody I don’t find it very amusing.

Maybe it’s because I have a disability myself and I’m just a bit sensitive?

Squiff70 · 13/01/2022 22:43

@Scautish just relaying what DP said although I confess I hadn't Googled it. I also have a disability and don't usually find mocking people with disabilities funny (depends how its done, thinking Family Guy here) but the presenter's laugh was just infectious.

Limmy’s Show - the story about Marti Pellow

Mysterweepinata · 13/01/2022 22:49

Mulligan and OHare’s songs from Reeves and Mortimer. Their version of Brim full of Asha is very ‘special’! 😉.

George Dawes’s songs particularly ‘PEANUTS!!!’

The dominatrix couple with brummy accents from Human Remains

Recordings of Harry Hill in his live shows particularly with Stouffa!

Limmy’s Show - the story about Marti Pellow
Limmy's Tina Turner Nutbush City Limits dancing competition!
Sparklingbrook · 13/01/2022 22:55

I remember trying to explain to a then teen DS how funny Vic & Bob were on Big Night Out. 'What's on the end of the Stick Vic?' we would shout. He seemed unconvinced. Grin
Graham Lister
The Ponderers
Greg Mitchell-'My wife's gonna KILL me!'
The Living Carpets and Wavey Davey

How we laughed. Grin Went to see it live and it was brilliant.

Fauxpains · 13/01/2022 22:55

Tom Hiddleston in the Centrum advert, and then Tom Hiddleston being spoofed by Phil Wang.

Also, Tom Hiddleston whenever he does dancing.

Ralph Fiennes did this incredibly pretentious tour of Clouds Hill which has me howling every time.

Feelingsad9 · 13/01/2022 22:56

Everything Martin does in Friday night dinner.

pandaeyes44 · 13/01/2022 22:57

The US Office fire drill episode.

Stavros Flatley's first performance on BGT.

Too many sketches to mention from The League of Gentleman.

NoHeavenNoMore · 13/01/2022 22:58

Pretty much anything Peter Kay says on his tours. Don't really like his tv programmes but the stand up, oh my god, they make me roar with laughter. I can recite word for word (and do to my mother; and she does it back too!!)

Poshjock · 13/01/2022 23:01

the one thing that never fails to get me laughing is Elvis getting the giggles at the rather over zealous backing singer

Vapeyvapevape · 13/01/2022 23:01

The latest video where the lad can't stand up in the mud , will be my new go to cheer me up clip.

GivenchyDahhling · 13/01/2022 23:03

Bit sweary and not for the easily offended - but this makes me cry laughing every single time.

Goofbawl · 13/01/2022 23:04

Madonna with the cape at the Brit Awards.

As PPs have already said - Moira and the wine advert. Moira being a crow. I would add Moria’s audition for the Jazzagals.

Fenton.

Phil Dunphy in general, but in particular the imprinting sucks episode, the episode where he learns to dance hip hop and the magic show for Jay’s birthday. He’s one of my favourite ever fictional characters, I LOVE HIM!

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 13/01/2022 23:04

@SueGrayInvestigates

Another one for Greg Davies on Graham Norton and Bob Mortimer on WILTY.

I love these alien abduction sketches on SNL, I think it’s seeing Ryan gosling and everyone trying not to laugh as much as anything else.

Poor David Mitchel..'what should I base it on Bob?' Love his stories..and the fact most are true!
PattyPan · 13/01/2022 23:05

Not comedy but this always cheers me up m.youtube.com/watch?v=riQTu_939MY

This makes me giggle m.youtube.com/watch?v=LVeLz0FIj9A

ParishSpinster · 13/01/2022 23:07

Vic and Bob's Masterchef.

Mentioned this to a work colleague once a few years ago and we spent way too long incapable of working because we were howling laughing. Actually cried in the office. Sweet memories.

And Still Game when they drink the hooch.

MsFogi · 13/01/2022 23:07

Dead Ringers - "DIANE ABBOTT!!!!"

mogkat · 13/01/2022 23:09

@LaQuern

Father Ted and 'Eurosong'

'Where are you going with your fetlocks blowing. In the wind...'

This absolutely cracks me up every time Grin "We've got to lose that sax solo"

Father Ted is comedy genius!
