Recipes you make time and time again?

I’ve made a New Years resolution to try out a new recipe at least once a week this year to get us out of the rotation of meals we were stuck in. Which recipes do you go back to time and time again as they’re such favourites?

Mine is this Pinch of Nom cheesy fajita orzotto. It’s a bit different and the Turkey mince makes a change from endless chicken.

We also use this Sainsbury’s pizza dough recipe at least once a fortnight. It’s so quick and easy and a pretty cheap dinner.

Oh I’m commenting so I can find this post again! Need some dinner inspiration; seem to be rather stuck in a rut!

I’m always making these flapjacks for lunch boxes.

This veggie meal: almost completely store cupboard ingredients too! I generally add some balsalmic vinegar: Anna Jones Puy Lentil Bolognaise

I love spicy Indian food but one of my favourite non spicy ‘winter’ meals is Pasta, boiled potatoes, green beans with toasted pine nuts and Parmesan.

Also placemarking as stuck in a similar rut.
My go-to when I can't think what to have is usually a huevos rancheros/shakshuka type dish. I make it up as I go along but usually chopped tomatoes, chorizo, jalapenos, peppers and eggs poached in the liquid. Sometimes I dunk a bit of toasted sourdough in the eggs, or have a bit of rice with it.

Orzo and courgette bake, which is a slight twist on a recipe from my all-time favourite cookery book, The Green Roasting Tin, by Rukmini Iyer.

The basis is just the baked orzo, which you can floof up with all sorts of stuff (roasted tomatoes, asparagus, peas, cheese etc) - it's very easy and only uses one dish. Grin

Delia Smiths Puttanesca pasta. Have made it regularly for past 25 years and it tastes slightly different every time! It's so good though, and needs to be enjoyed with freshly baked ciabatta and a huge glass of Chianti.
