Referred shoulder pain - sort of?

I have gallstones and get right shoulder blade pain frequently I've learned to live with.

However recently whenever I've had any acute pain to the "head" area the pain refers right down the right side of my back

For example

I went to a holistic therapist/physio/chiropractor for something else. He cracked my neck and when he cracked the right side a horrendous piercing pain shot down my back

Another time it happened I got some lip filler in and when the girl put the needle through my skin the same thing happened. Piercing pain right down the right side of my back.

Why does this happen 😖

Two things I wouldn't do for starters, which is no help to you at all!

I would have gone to bloody A&E

My physio is often having to repair awful damage done to people by chiropractors. It's terrifying.

Op, I would see your gp and explain your pain and what aggravates it. It sounds a bit neural to me. I would not let anyone manipulate your spine unless you know what is going on and that it will not cause further damage.

No bloody way would I allow someone to crack my neck. Every single nerve that gives you movement travels down your neck. There is no benefit from craving a neck that is worth that risk imo.

Tbf I loved the feeling after getting my neck cracked. My head felt half its weight.

The neck one does make sense that it might cause trauma.

But the lips one? I can't figure out how a needle penetrating the skin on my face gave me severe acute pain in my back 🥴

Also just to clarify I don't plan on getting my neck cracked again!
