Yes. Sometimes.

No. My brother and I get on well now. I'm a single parent and he's become a kind of surrogate dad to his nieces and nephew. He does far more.day to day stuff than their dad does these.days.

alwaysmovingforwards · 12/01/2022 23:16

No, seem to get on much better.
But, not in each other’s day to day either.

Hellocatshome · 12/01/2022 23:18

No as now I dont have anything to do with my sibling apart from enforced family gatherings when I just avoid them as much as possible.

We disagree rather than argue, and then don't speak for a week or two until iit gets forgotten.

We have had a couple of massive rows over the past two years as our mother has become first frail and then very ill. It's bloody awful. We haven't really got on that brilliantly for large chunks of time as we're very different, but we've never argued like this. Makes me want to puke, or be dead - just feel so trapped as you'll never completely get away from your siblings.

Yes. We have very different personalities.
My DH and her sister don't argue at all but aren't close either.
