Itchy Covid injection site a month on?

I had my booster circa 6th December. Pfizer, if that makes a difference (after my two first jabs were AZ).

No adverse reaction at the time but I then caught Covid and had a positive LF four days later (and PCR six days later). Was really unwell, fever and couldn’t get out of bed for about two weeks due to fever, headache and lethargy. Feel like I’m on the mend now but still really tired. At the height of the illness I had a rash on my stomach and thighs that was red and scaly and really itchy. It died off when the fevers improved.

However, now a good ten days after I started to be able to get out of bed and function properly, these past few days I have developed itching and slight redness on my arms (including in the creases of my elbows where I had very bad eczema as a child) and chest and breasts. The redness is nothing like as bad as it was when I had Covid but it’s pinkish for sure (although I am scratching it). Today though the site of my injection has got massively red and inflamed and is itching like a fucker.

I can’t get a GP appointment for seven weeks and I phoned 111 22hrs ago who warned me it might be a long wait for a call back (and who I’ve rung back twice) but they’ve not had a doctor phone me yet.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried? Antihistamines aren’t helping and neither is calamine lotion or anything else I’ve desperately slathered myself in. All advice and experiences welcome!
