Cupboard of doom

Hello, looking any helpful suggestions for my kitchen cupboard of doom. It’s a big cupboard which goes back further than I could reach, in fact I’m sure I could contort myself in there if I really tried. Every time I open the bastard door Tupperware jumps out at me (usually with missing lids). How do I make maximum use of this cupboard. I keep the saucepans (3) and frying pans (2) then mixing bowls, Tupperware baking tray, chopping board etc. it’s a small kitchen so perhaps I need to rethink my cupboard contents 🤷🏼‍♀️

Blimey isn't that where Harry Potter used to live

🤣🤣 I’m sure a London estate agent would be able to try and rent it out for £1000 pcm 🤣

Embrace it as a hiding place - no one will ever look for you in there.

I have a cupboard like that. I wish I had an answer as I don’t know either. At the moment I keep a couple of vases - I don’t use them often. Maybe a lazy Susan? So then it can be rotated to get to the contents?

I have a full depth narrow cupboard.

My solution has been to put a set of narrow plastic drawers in the bottom half. I also intend at some stage to fit narrow shelves or hooks inside the door as the plastic drawers are not as deep as the cupboard so I may as well make use of the space at the front.

In the top I have baskets that I can remove completely, so can make use of the full depth. The intention is to use these to store light things so the basket doesn't get too heavy but one does have rice/pasta/pulses so is reasonable heavy to remove. Plastic storage boxes would also work. Just need to measure the width and get appropriate width. B&M, Home Bargains, Wilko or The Range all have a variety of sizes.
I have full size base units in my utility and utilise the standard plastic boxes for storage here.

Were I replacing units I would always get drawers or pullout units rather than cupboards
