What’s the best example of justice being done that you’ve ever seen? (But not brought about yourself).

A customer made a couple of nasty, uncalled for comments to me today at work (retail) and it’s upset me a bit :( Particularly when this person used their job role as a justification, implying that they know what they’re talking about and I don’t (very unprofessional).
I obviously would never do anything to exact revenge, but I keep thinking it’d be nice to witness a bird shitting on her head/a lorry drenching her in dirty road water as she walks along the pavement, etc.

So I’m wondering, have you ever seen something and thought “Good! Serves you right!” ??

My elderly dog was a bit of a twat but I loved him. One day he peed on the floor, which was an unfortunate occurrence for him. My FIL, picked up my dog, chucked him outside (not literally but forcefully) and threw a cup of water over him for good measure.

When he let him in again (I was in the bath at the time), my dog went upstairs and promptly peed all over his expensive sheepskin coat Grin

I didn’t laugh…much Grin

My sisters husband is useless with their kids, does anything he can to get out of looking after them. I help my sister out, she drops them at mine and says he’ll pick them up at say 1oclock, he never gets there until at least 3. Text and ask him to pick them up and he says he’ll be there ‘soon’, it’s a 10 minute drive to my house which has never taken him less than an hour and a half Hmm when it’s his turn to look after them, he always goes to his mums house so she’s doing all the childcare for him.

He got COVID the week my sister was due back in work after Christmas and the kids were due back in nursery. I wouldn’t wish anyone ill but he hasn’t been unwell, just a bit run down. My sister has tested negative so she’s been going to work and he’s had to look after the kids all day for a week on his own, not being able to take them out or leave them anywhere else for childcare. Makes me secretly feel a bit smug!

Absolutely, the cat/car typo is particularly hilarious on the Litter Tray board. Lots of people stroking their cars etc.

I worked in a well known fast food chain when I was 17. A massive guy, clearly on steroids, complained to me that his burger looked nothing like the picture on the menu (in terms of presentation, I suppose) but I refused his demand for another as he'd already eaten it! So he told me to get outside and he'd punch me in my "stupid fucking face". I said no sorry sir, I'm still on shift, so he swiped his drink off the counter and stormed off... then slipped in the drink Grin I thought I'd break a rib from laughing!

This is really petty, but the best example of minor instant karma I experienced was years ago in a huge queue at the H+M till. Only one till was working at first, but then a second assistant opened another till. The woman right at the back of the original queue literally leaped forward and positioned herself at the front of the new till, then looked back at all us slowcoaches with a massive smirk.
Then she opened her purse to pay and money, cards etc went absolutely everywhere on the floor. She ended up scrabbling around at people's feet to get the coins back, it's a miracle she didn't get an 'accidental' kick.

2 spring to mind

1.An ex of many years ago was ruining a perfectly lovely day out laying in the sun at a beauty spot, by being a grumpy arse. My complaining had him call me an insensitive bitch. Cue dog coming along, cocking it's leg & peeing on his leg. I replied with, "I don't think it's me who smells like a bitch". In fairness he cracked out laughing, washed his leg in the river & did lighten up

  1. DD spent some time in a wheelchair as a young teen. Getting through town with her could be hell, not least because she was as big as me & I have back trouble & a lot of people just don't think. & some are just plain rude. We we're coming passed a wide part of the street close to bus stops & this very snotty, expensively dressed older woman with 2 handbag dogs came screaming at us to get out of the way or she'd miss her bus. It was impossible fir me to move as fast as she expected & she ended up kicking DDs painful leg as she forced her way passed. I seethed in my head as she rang passed us for her bus & imagined she'd fall over... cue her tripping over her dogs leads & going flat on her face & missing her bus Shock.

I was driving around the car park of my gym to find a parking spot.. the arrows on the ground pointed a certain way but I was driving the other way - I had quickly learnt that everyone did this and would let each other pass no problem. A lady walking into the gym with her children shouted at me for going against the direction of traffic.

Some hours later as I left I noticed the same lady driving towards me against the direction arrow, she noticed me and looked sheepish as I laughed heartily and waggled my finger at her

@Magnited

Not really karma, as a bit distressing. I was in London at a major tourist attraction. A 'rough sleeper' man who displayed some mental health issues was being taunted by some Japanese tourists. Having goaded him for a while he picked up a pigeon then tore of its head while shaking it violently so the tourists were covered in its blood. Quite bizarre.

I don't expect they will taunt a homeless person ever again

Nasty horrible little man who was the same level of senior leadership as me in our trust going round telling everyone (even signing his emails) he was being made more senior in the autumn. Slated his line manager in an inspection, who found out, decided not to promote him and nasty horrible little man was highly embarrassed. I chuckled.

Working in a shop.
5 tills open but really busy and queue right to the back of the shop.
Was serving a customer on the customer service exchanges/refunds till which took quite some time. Customer inquiries took priority but I also served customers if I had no inquiries. I noticed a woman come up to the tills, look at the queue, decide she was going to skip the queue, and wait directly behind the customer I was talking to.
When I was finished with the first customer I said to her would you like an exchange or a refund? She said neither I’m here to pay, I said well the queue to pay is back there and pointed to the back of the shop. She was furious. The queue was even longer at this point.
Then 20 minutes she got the the front of the queue and I was free next (the queue had died down by now). I just thought to myself fuck that and went for a break.
