I got the 14 in 1 for Christmas.

Opened it, it's on the side. I'm so daunted. Where do I even start?

I love mine.

Start with either the air fryer, pressure cooker or slow cooker depending on which fits the food dishes you have to cook.

My first foods were chips and scotch eggs! But we use it for allsorts

Start off Using the air fryer to get used to it as it's easy and not too daunting. We got ours about 6 weeks ago and have got more confident with it- to the extent I cooked out Turkey crown and ham in it for Christmas. Pressure cooked then air fryer to brown off- both were lovely

Started a thread yesterday about which multicooker to buy.
Many people rate the Ninja foodi highly so I’m going out to buy one today.
There are a couple of UK based NF books of recipes I believe, which might help you make a start if you haven’t already done so since your thread 🙂.

Absolutely love mine. Its amazing. Dehydrated orange slices for my Christmas wreath. Slow cooker. Air fryer. Does it all. Rarely use my main cooker now.

Is it cheaper than using your cooker and are they suitable for 1. I keep looking at them but can't decide if I will get a lot of use out of them although I use my slow cooker a lot.

Following as we got one to, I'm so excited to try the proving and bread functions. Also excited about air frying as never done it before - can you just do any food you would usually oven bake? I have sweet potato chips on the freezer so may give a go at teatime Xmas Grin

Is anyone able to recommend any air fryer recipes? Or books?

nancybotwinbloom · 01/01/2022 22:05

Just seen these replies. Thank you. How do you all know how long to cook everything for?

Do you just guess? Have recipe books? Or just google?
