I've been talking to one for 21 years now but we've never met. I talk to them almost every day.

How about you?

21 years now - I'm not a super close knit member of the group, but still post on and off. I did do meet ups in the early days and also a couple when a group of us had DC roughly the same age.

I really like it - I love that I can put as much or as little of myself into the group as I like and it is so much more relaxed than any of my actual friendship groups.

I've never had a close online friend. Do you think it's still easy to make those close friendships online nowadays?

Almost 10 years thanks to Mumsnet! There are 35 of us in the group but about 20 of us post regularly. I regularly lean on them for support and advice and they are truly some of the best people I know.
DH thinks I’m weird but he’s met a couple of them and has to admit they’re great 😊

About 17 years for my longest we've not met IRL since 2015 but talk very regularly and have met a fair few times. Sadly were other side of the country to each other.
