How bizarre! It also looks very short as an event. What’s it about?
Does something else go on around /after the squibbing? As a local is it something you attend or avoid like the plague?

It’s a local thing!!

It's linked to the guy fawkes carnival and its Bridgwater, Somerset not any of the Bridgewaters around the country.

Squibbing normally happens in Bridgwater (no E) in November, after the Quy Fawkes Carnival. Unfortunately I believe it was cancelled this year due to Covid. The Carnival is usually held on the Thursday nearest to 5th November. As I recall the following day is known as Black Friday, because everyone is hung over from the previous nights celebrations.

The carnival is usually huge

Ahh I went back to watch and see its Bridgwater. Apologies.

It does say Christmas squibbing on the video, do they have one around 5th Nov then another one at Christmas then?

Do locals go to it or mostly avoid it because it’s busy and (pre Covid) full of tourists?
