Anyone else given up on pre-Christmas healthy eating?

DH and I generally follow SW and have had good results. Since December started though, it's just felt like there is no point in even trying anymore. It's almost Christmas, we're currently self isolating due to Covid and all I want to do is eat ALL the chocolate and crisps because 'I deserve it.' Anyone else just letting themselves go until the new year? Grin

I lost 3 stone and am now at around 8 1/2 stone. I had a special occasion at the weekend and ate a lot and have gained (yes genuine gain, always happens) and it's not worth the guilt. Instead, I am adding a little Christmassy treat to my day - atm a hotel choc - no guilt and will stop me eating them all in 1 day! All bets are off between Christmas and New Year though Grin

For the record I am always hungry and eat a pile so try to eat very healthily so I can eat more! Therefore I get even hungrier when eating junk as you get less for your 'money' and then end up eating more.

I have. I don't know what's up with me. I've been knocking back mince pies and chocolates and wine as if it was already Christmas. I've tried to burn it off with a lot of cleaning and heavy lifting getting the house ready for guests, but it's no excuse, really. Though I did manage to go out tonight for drinks and only have two single gins with slimline tonic and went to bed instead of indulging a cheese and cracker urge, so maybe I can keep the willpower going tomorrow.
