What's your take home pay net of childcare?

Have just started a new job after being a SAHM for a couple of years.

The salary is good (London) but after paying for our nanny £13ph, I'm left with slightly less than that p/h. It's just so depressing.

After paying for nursery/nanny/childcare, what's your hourly or monthly take home pay?

Also if you have joint finances the family pot is better off for you working. If you don’t, then it’s even more important to ensure that your own personal wealth and earning power is maximised.

I have around £1650 per month net, after childcare. That's if it is only deducted from my salary though and in practice we treat it as a joint expense.

I don't think your situation sounds very fair tbh but I appreciate every couple has different ways of organising finances.
