Self help for stomach pain/heartburn

I have bad stomach ache. I've had this before maybe 3 times in past 4 years. Lasts for a month or so and then eases

It gets really bad if I haven't eaten although helped by paracetamol. If I do eat I get heartburn.

Tried Rennie type tablets and that pink chalky stuff last time made me sick.

Is there anything available over the counter that will help. Or tips?

I was a wholesale consumer of Gaviscon. Following a gastroscopy, I was put on Protein Pump Inhibitors, only had indigestion once in 18 months.

Lansoprazole.

I get this from time to time, lansoprazole is the way forward. Peppermint tea does help to soothe it while you wait though.

Keep to plain, boring foods in the meantime. Even if you just nibble on something during the day.

See GP but in the mean time try Andrews liver salts, amazing stuff

Have similar, I fend getting a towel and pulling across your back quite fast, as I'd you were drying your back. Gives me some acidy burbs then the pain goes
