My colleague often comments that I don't wear much make-up, does my make-up routine sound unusual to you?

By the way, I NEVER leave the house without having applied the following -

Tinted moisturizer, eye shadow, blusher & lipstick!

She sometimes says, 'Oh you don't wear Foundation, do you'? And the other day, office chat turned to make-up and she said 'I don't think I've ever seen you wear Mascara"!

The fact is, I've got quite a high coloured skin tone, so I find tinted moisurizer enough, and have long, dark eyelashes & dark green eyes, so some light grey eyeshadow alone, is enough to emphasise the colour! Add blusher & lipstick, and I think I look 'made-up,' but maybe I don't?!

Would appreciate opinions, I'm surprised how much she notices tbh!

I haven't worn make-up to work since the 70s, or anywhere else for that matter. It's weird that she is so fixated on what you do or don't wear on your face. For what it's worth I think obvious make-up looks horrible and old fashioned - maybe mention that to her?

I wear a lot but it's like a hobby
Since masks it's altered my base makeup so I wear
CT flawless filter, concealer, foundation powder (instead of liquid foundation)
Blush and highlighter
Eye primer, eyeshadow (2-4 shades), eyeliner
Mascara and eyebrow gel

She's being rude, next time she says something just reply ....oh you really slap it on don't ya

IRL. I would just clock her as rude and maybe tell her to STFU

I’d find that incredibly rude, way personal. Why does she care and what has it to do with her? Tell her it’s none of her damn business.

Some people tint their eyelashes anyway so may not need mascara. I've never understood why people feel the need to comment about others anyway. Do what makes you happy, OP.
