Anyone else got the house to themselves tonight and loving it?

DH is at works Christmas do. Baby is asleep in bed. Dog snoozing next to me.

I’ve got fish and chips and watching a crap film. It is DELIGHTFUL.

Me. Partner is at his work party and the baby is asleep in bed. I wish I could be relishing it like you but I just feel anxious! I used to LOVE having free roam of the house. Hoping this nervous wreck phase passes soon!!

Tomorrow I will have, got gluwein, ciabatta, a platter of meats and olives and mince pies

I am the opposite, I am alone again tonight and can't wait to get DH home.

Yup. Dd finally moved out last week and dh unexpectedly called in to work. Fire lit, my type of crap on tv, picky nibbles (ok mostly ice cream) for supper. Lovely.

DP and I are child free until Monday evening and we are absolutely making the most of it
