You need really good bread, lashings of proper butter and then chuck on some naive ham.

Or naice ham, thank you autocorrect

Ham! When I do a roast ham I boil it first then roast it with honey and wholegrain mustard. I then use the stock from the boiled ham and whiz it up with leftover cauliflower cheese for cauliflower cheese soup. It’s delicious 😋

Then have the soup the next day with cold ham sandwiches. My favourite dinner and lunch

I'd have served it with a crispy buttered roll or some slices of garlic bread.

Awww no am back from aldi now and I would have done beef and horseradish. We always have soup and sandwiches in the winter.

I haven't made the soup before so am just kinda winging it. I have cut up some shallots 2 cauliflowers thrown it in some boiling water and added a veggie stock pot. When it's cooked I plan to blend it then add a shit load of cheese Grin I've got some big bloomer loaf from aldi so will do ham toasties I think....

I never got the sandwich and soup either. Soup with nice crusty bread is lovely. Would feel like eaten two meals and not enjoying flavours of either one mouthful of tomato soup, one mouthful of BLT Confused

Hmmmm how is it?

I would recommend frying off the shallot and roasting the cauliflower for a better flavour.
