Do you know of any nice UK hotels with farm or petting zoo on site?

Just that really..!

This summer, we stayed in a lovely self catering cottage complex in Dorset which had a selection of animals in paddocks for DCs to feed, groom and stroke.
They had a couple of donkeys, some tame sheep, goats and chickens, who all happily came for carrots and cuddles.

6 months on, DC talk about it EVERY day.

The only downside was that it was self catering accommodation and it wasn't much of a holiday for us cooking, shopping and cleaning so we would love to find a similar animal set up but within a hotel.

I've googled like mad but can't find anything but am sure it must exist somewhere?!

Has anyone ever come across this? Ideally not just one or two pet rabbits that can be watched through the fence, but somewhere where they can pop along and see/feed the animals throughout the day

That looks lovely!
I would ideally like somewhere with animals on site who can be visited as a quick distraction rather than a planned trip
But that looks like a really lovely back up option if we can’t find a Plan A hotel (and it doesn’t look like I can!)

Armathwaite Hall in Cumbria has a little zoo next door which is owned by the family who own the hotel.

There's B&B accommodation on this website: www.farmstay.co.uk/

Farm stay UK is what you're after. We had a great time at boskenna home farm in cornwall a few years ago but I don't think they're doing evening meals any more (shame - the food was memorably good!).

I forgot to mention, if you do opt for Evesham or nearby, you're also not too far from Adam Henson's Farm Park cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk/
