But if you normally listen to the radio isn’t it cheating to avoid it? I thought you were supposed to go around as normal and fate will decide whether you hear it or not.

I'm still in, but heard bloody Band Aid yesterday.

I was out on Day 1 thanks to a certain devious friend on FB posting it as the soundtrack to a video of his puppy with the caption 'sound up'.

I switched to Classic FM a few days ago, I ride shotgun with DS and drop him to work, he does not have Classic FM in his preset stations, so I drive home in silence.

I need to find my headphones for nipping into JS, thank God for Tesco delivery.

Does it count if you read a set of parody lyrics in a satirical tweet and then accidentally find yourself singing it? Or is that covered in the cover version exemption?

Radio 6 has been fine so far, and Radio 3, which I listen to at work, is my special safe place.

With Classic FM you're always vulnerable to the adverts.

JorisBonson I know but they always seem to use the real version to sing along to when practising. That's how I got Whammed last year! Still in it so far though...

I watched a BBC radio Christmas advert that bloody well had it in. I wouldn’t mind but it was linked from the Radio 4 Facebook page so I didn’t expect it. Also it’s a really shit ad and I was about to turn it off when it happened.

I do love the song though so now I can just listen to it freely.

I got caught last year in M & S. Thought I was safe because they were playing Back to Black by Amy Winehouse. Followed that up with Last Christmas. I mean, who does that?!

I'm still in. DD has got all of her friends to play as well this year, having had a VERY serious chat about the 'don't be a dick' rule.

I got done in mid-November (FFS!) so I'm delighted to find out it only starts on 1st Dec. It'll be a shop or the telly that gets me - I don't listen to R2 or the commercial stations.

Was got today as dh had the Christmas radio station in his car. Would have missed it if lidl queue had been 2 people longer so i blame short queues for losing 😂

I listen to either Kerrang or Classic FM, as both of those are safe! It's the bloody TV that could be my downfall...you never know when it could pop up.
