Suggestions for (millions of) teddy storage

Ideally I would like a HUGE wicker basket with a lid but I can't find one.

There are 110 teddies to store Shock

Has anyone got any suggestions? Pretty please ...

What about those bags for clothes storage that zip up? You would then be able to still see the teddy’s and make sure they are ok 😁

Ah sorry I also meant something relatively pretty, it's to go in a child's bedroom

My daughter had a big net in the corner of her bedroom above a cabin bed that held loads of soft toys.

X post, neither are pretty suggestions, sorry.

Can you thin them out Grin
I cleared out a big black bag recently and just kept nice ones like jellycat or sentimental ones. I use a wicker basket and a monks bench.

Does it need to have a lid? We have a huge 'log basket' as teddy storage in my son's room and it looks v good.

Clymene · 01/12/2021 10:57

Zip up beanbag.

The hammock wouldn't fit I don't think but all other suggestions are worth looking at - does anyone have any links to what they use?

I would LOVE to thin throw all the buggers out but he definitely wouldn't like that right now!

As there are so many, would the DC be parted from any? Could be a handy declutter. Apologies if this is not part of the plan, I have my decluttering head on at present Grin

Alternatively, I saw on a TV program a cool storage. A wooden board (decorated however prettily), with two holes drilled through, then a bungee cord through the two holes, then the teddy slots into the cord nicely.

We have a cuddly toy beanbag. It's basically an empty beanbag that zips up and instead of beans in it you stuff all the cuddlies in and it becomes a big squashy thing to lie or sit on. Then you don't even have to LOOK at the furry little beggars! I love it! think we just got it on Amazon.

No help at the moment, I know, but if and when you do want to thin them out and can’t bear to just bin them, a dog rescue might like them.

A few years ago dh took a black bin bag full of long grown-up dds’ less beloved soft toys* to the Battersea Dogs’ Home - as long as they weren’t stuffed with polystyrene granules they welcomed them. They’d already been in the loft for ages.
*we’ve still got a lot, Gdcs enjoy them when they visit.
