Moray/Inverness help

I'm hoping to maybe visit relatives over the christmas holidays. They live very rurally in Moray but maybe an hour or so from Inverness. I'm looking for things to do or places we could go that would suit both teens/preteens and grandparents who are mobile but not able to hike the hills (paved paths or flat surfaces only really).

Are there any good christmas lights or stately homes with christmas displays , google is not being my friend, or maybe there is nothing of the sort up there??

OR any other ideas?

Try getting your post moved to Scotnet, someone may be able to help you there.

Keith to Dufftown railway?

I thought I looked at the scotsnet section and it looked like there was only about one post a month. Was I looking at the wrong place?

Brodie Castle is lovely and has some Christmas things going on. Wildwoodz near Munlochy has a gentle winter walk. Simpsons garden centre is nice for a wander and lovely food. Lots of lovely walks - you can search by area on Walkhighlands.

This might give you some ideas morayspeyside.com/. I find it a bit odd when people suggest questions about Scotland should be moved to Scotnet. It's moribund, and there are a good number of Scots on the boards here.

Landmark adventure Park has some activities that suit all different ages and abilities. Also Kincraig wildlife park has polar bears. Aviemore, has reindeer centre and sleigh dog centre to visit. Ness islands can be a nice short walk.
