Genetic disorders mistaken for cerebral palsy?

This might be a long shot but does anyone know anything about genetic disorders that cause spasticity and cerebral palsy like effects? My 5 year old is being looked at for CP but she wasn’t premature/no injury that we know of, and I’m so worried it isn’t actually standard CP.

@IncessantNameChanger oh really, yes from that point of view, it’s definitely better to know them isn’t it and have it diagnosed.

I’ve been thinking about the lack of solid answers a lot. We will never know how much it’s going to affect her over time will we, even if we find out it’s genetic. To be fair no one knows what around the corner and what the future holds for our kids, but it’s hard not to live worrying when you know there is a gene causing spasticity but not exactly how it will progress symptom wise.
