Our after school club is £15 per child for first hour then £3 for hour after. Times by 2 dc and 3 times a week. It's a big expensive. Aibu for dh who works from home a few days a week should collect on those days ?

How old are the children? How far away is school?

I pick up my niece twice a week, but she's old enough to look after herself for an hour or so and I only live a minute walk from the school. If it was further, or she was younger, it wouldn't be an option.

School 20 mins walk or 5 mins car. Kids are 5 & 7 so I understand a bit crazy once home but it's just so much money!

Not at those ages if you are hoping he can work afterwards.
If he can flex his hours to have done a days work by 3, and then collect them, go for it.

That seems quite expensive. We don't use it, but I believe ours is £9 for 3:30-6pm. Personally, I work in a flexible senior ish role and I collect mine most days at 3 and they are home with me til the end of the 'working day'. But I (and everyone else in my industry) works very flexibly, never 9-5, and I always work in the evenings, some days I'm leaving for the office before 6am. So the few afternoons a week of still working with dc around is no big deal and no one cares/everyone does the same. On the days I have confidential meetings or need to work late in the office, dh does it.

Yabu to expect him to pick them up if he is supposed to be working. The fact he is working from home is irrelevant

Depends on his job and whether he can do the required hours.

I wfh some days and couldn't possibly do this, I'm expected to be working.
My dc are wild after school, they want to tell me their news, show me their work, tell me that someone has nits etc, then run about for a bit, then get fed.
I'd be sacked if I tried to wangle work and kids simultaneously.
