Forget swimming with dolphins and climbing Mount Everest - what are the silly things you've always wanted to do in this life?

Mine:

1. Smash my face into a huge cake (not done yet)
2. Put my hair in a ponytail and cut it off (done and not as satisfying as expected)

This is the thread I didn’t know I needed Now I want to faceplant a big birthday cake too! I want to climb to the top of a really big tree for the view and be able to float back down. I’d like to be able to skate around the house so will need slides and a bit of anti gravity for the ceiling bits. I want to have an instant translation device fitted do I can understand and s as peak any language.

I have a bucket list - one of mine is to go in one of those rotary car washes, the ones with the flying mops. I’m far too terrified to go in one on my own.

I went through the bus wash at the local bus garage for heritage open day...

^I would like a high-vis jacket, some huge headphones and a pair of light-up table tennis bats, please.
Then I could wave my bats at a massive jumbo jet and have it taxi along after me, obeying my every gesture.^

I really want to go to an auction and ideally have a go at being an auctioneer. I'd love to front a band and be lead vocalist.

I love to do some serious hill walking (children too small and I don't know anyone else to go with. I went to the Lakes as a teenager with school and adored the long hikes and camping).

Definitely do the walking thing if you ever get a day on your own. Either hide a guide or go on a guided walk - just google mountain leaders in Snowdonia, the Peaks, the Lakes, or Cairngorms or Trossacks. They aren’t too expensive if you can tag on to a group, and you get the benefit of putting money into the local economy and learning about the area as you walk.

Or, go on a navigation or mountain skills course. Plas y Brenin and Glenmore Lodge are great places to learn, sometimes do women-specific courses, and of different lengths. Plus they are residential and have amazing food. I went from being an absolute beginner at 44 to doing Everest Base Camp and climbing Scottish Munroes in crampons and an ice axe. It’s never too late to try.

I've always had a yearning to smash massive shop windows. In particular the ones at Debenhams in Derby, sadly now long gone.

I'd like to go to a massive adult size soft play centre and bounce, slide and climb all day then Bury myself in the ball pool
I'd like to go to a cowboy ranch in America, cook on an open fire and ride the plains whooping like a mad woman rounding up cattle
I'd like to go to New England in the fall too and stay in an art deco house in miami

I’d like to have a nerf war across the office. There was one before I joined but the boss put his foot down after finding a nerf bullet in his coffee. Feel I missed out

@Giggorata I had exactly this wish and I told DH. As a surprise he organised a huge custard pie fight (real custard and cream) for my birthday a few years back. Bloody awesome.

Another one with cancer here so I have given this some thought.
I’ve always worked in health & social care & sometimes think I’d like to work in the city just for a day, wear a power suit & generally march around feeling very powerful & confident. I’m sure the reality is nothing like I imagine!

It would probably be more like the Miranda episode where she works in an office!

I would like to travel from Scotland to Italy on my e-bike.
