Anyone watching Kevin Sinfield finishing his run?

I'm feeling pretty emotional about it. My DF died from MND at the age of 55 so it's a cause that really hits home. There is currently no cure and no effective treatment for this devastating disease. Kevin Sinfield is a legend for doing it for his mate, Rob Burrow and for making MND more widely known about. Go Kevin!

Yes, I was going to be there at the club before I got COVID. He is a very special man is our Kev.

RJnomore1 · 23/11/2021 08:44

I have just about stopped crying.

I have never seen a man with a bigger smile on his face than rob burrows. And with a husband who runs marathons I know how much that would have taken from Kevin.

What an incredible pair of men.

It’s just brilliant. They should stop giving out honours to actors doing their jobs, and give people like Kevin the highest honour.

You're not wrong Poppity.

Whare can we watch?

EwwSprouts · 23/11/2021 08:54

Was amazing. Kev is friendship and leadership personified.

@72WayTooCool - I missed the bit where he came into the stadium as was in the shower.

I lost my DF to MND too. It's a devastating and horrible disease and I think that Kevin is doing an absolutely amazing job in supporting his friend as well as raising money and awareness.

I must admit that sometimes I find it hard to watch his exploits because I still get v emotional, even though it's almost 20 years since I lost my DF. Flowers

He is amazing. On the pitch you could tell him and Burrows where close but what he has done the last year just goes above and beyond

MichelleScarn · 23/11/2021 09:11

Brilliant! What a man!

BertieTheBungalow · 23/11/2021 09:26

He really should be Sir Kevin Sinfield. He is an amazing man doing what he's doing for his best friend.

I'm glad people who don't know who he was are finally get to see what fans have seen for over 20 years. The fact he is bringing MND awareness to national bbc breakfast is just amazing.

I just hope the when the Rob Burrow Centre for MND is open in Leeds that Rob is around to see it been used and people benefit from it.

Yingandyang · 23/11/2021 09:28

Yes, I watched, amazing.
