Petite ladies, please help me buy some thermals

I'm 5ft 1 and I'm looking to buy some thermal long-johns, and possibly a top too although my legs are the most important bit.

So far I've only found some at M&S and Lands End, and neither of them have great reviews. Any other ideas?

I also wouldn't mind buying some "proper" ones from an outdoor shop or something, but none of them seem to make petites.

No problem with things falling down or feeling baggy. Thermals fit quite differently than tights, which are a nightmare.
What are you going to wear over them? I find it best to wear something roomy, mine are fine under walking trousers or work trousers, but not so good under cords.

Just asked DH who works for cotswolds and he suggested icebreaker. Depends on waste size but their small is very small apparently.

@tectonicplates Yes those are the ones! I also got them in navy! I love them though I’ve only actually worn them once. I think my last silk long johns were from Patra and these seem the same quality - definitely feel they will be perfect for long winter walks! I thought £30 was reasonable for silk - and I couldn’t find anything cheaper!

I'm a 65 year old and 5’0” but the thermals I see are down to my mid thighs 🤪 I buy 14-15 old M&S boys and they're perfect in length and sleeve length too.
