Awake in the middle of the night. Anyone want to keep me company?

DS has ADHD and (currently) a streaming coldy type illness. He woke me up an hour ago because he couldn't breathe through his nose and kept picturing the atoms of his body and it made him feel anxious and dizzy.
So I managed to get him thinking about something else, but now I'm wide awake.
I'm worried he has covid. I'm worried I have covid. I'm worried DP might get covid and dp has family history of heart issues that haven't been inveatigated in him despite some symptoms. I've done an LFT but it's in the opposite side of the room to me and I have abcat on my lap. The cat is the cat who never EVER sits on a lap...unless you're under duress of some sort, usually illness. That's it. I definitely have covid. But I need to check the test. And I don't want to move the cat because hes sweet and never usually snuggly.
I have a week off between jobs. If me or DS has covid I won't be able to go away like i planned. I can't have my mum look after him if he has covid. This is shit. I really needed some time off, so did DP, but not to have covid.
Fuck covid. Arsing bastard virus.
I need to check my test.

I havent felt well for god knows how long - well over a year.

I'm now sleeping for long stretches of time, hours and hours, and my life is slowly falling apart.

If your ds is full of head cold, he doesn't have covid. Please don't worry. There is a truly vile, watery cold doing the rounds. My DS had it. Threw up all over my car.

I bet you're one of those people who is really careful, aren't you. Honestly, it'll pay off, you'll be fine, although where do you plan to go where there isn't any covid?

We've all had full head cold type thing and all got positive PCRS.

I have so many things, but lately I can barely shuffle around indoors.

I have paperwork, prescriptions, housework, washing all backing up, but i feel too ill to do anything but rest.

I'm awake too OP through self inflicted nausea and dizziness. I went out with a friend and had four small glasses of wine over the evening. My tolerance for booze seems to have deminished. Or it was the prawn curry. Either way .

Sympathies for all those with Covid. It's horrible to have booked nice things after the various lockdowns and then not be able to attend.

Yes I'm up too. Bad migraine pain. 6 paracetamol and zomiltriptain and it's still here. At least I have the cat! Single parent so no other adult in my life to talk to
