Mine today, it's nearly TOTM, I've donated blood tonight and so I feel quite weak and hormonal.
Dp offered to cook dinner tonight, I was having steak....he's fucking cremated the bastard thing!! A lovely 28day sirlion grey and thin looking. I could cry.

And DSS 15 is here there too, walked past me and ignored me when I said hi as he walked through the door. Nice.

I think I might have a hormone induced cry to sleep tonight.

Listening to Christy Moore on the Late Late Show
What have I done to deserve this.

stayathomer · 19/11/2021 22:38

Power point presentations ...

when they read out the points you can see and read for yourself

Also I work in customer services.
People call in and rant for 5 mins because letting you speak.
Can I have your order no?Don’t have it.
Ffs.
Ok how about the post code?
Not sure which one it went to.
Alright well what’s your NAME at least?!Why did you make this call without any idea who the fuck you are!!!

Snorted at both of these but have definitely done both too! Mine is people describing the food they cooked at home like they're in an advert- food is pan fried and they had it with a side portion of chunky chips and a crusty roll. It is totally irrational but I get so irritated my skin crawls!!!

GinJeanie · 19/11/2021 22:49

Lots of things make me eggy! Scraping out food left in the plug hole after washing up, adults who cycle on the pavement, people who don't say thank you when I stand aside/pull over to let them past and breathing in fumes from woodburners on our road when I take the dog out in the evening (only because my asthma has got worse mind - used to love them!).

BobbieT1999 · 19/11/2021 22:51

@Mother87 it also only seems to happen when I'm in a bad mood, stressed/having a bad day...Like fate is giving me a giant F You!

FallonCarringtonWannabe · 19/11/2021 22:52

Alot. It’s just not a word. You’d have to fight with your spell check to type it. Why?

Abracadabra12345 · 19/11/2021 22:53

@jackiebenimble

DP not emptying the washing up bowl after washing up and leaving the scrubby thing in the stagnant stinking water overnight. And having to deal with it every freakin morning. Including washing the washing up bowl.
You too?! 😬
Abracadabra12345 · 19/11/2021 23:00

People making long and loud phone calls on public transport near me. Worse, my ndn making long and loud phone calls near me in the garden - how can he know so many people? He never goes anywhere- including work

Sparklfairy · 19/11/2021 23:02

I do a lot of these Blush and yes, I annoy myself and there's no escape! Bone cracking (back, shoulders, pelvis, knuckles and one elbow), leaving cupboards open everywhere, walking in the middle of pavements so no one can get past, i squeeze the toothpaste from the middle, tidying up then making a coffee and leaving the coffee jar out, spoon on the side making a mess, cupboard open...

I'm a menace. Luckily I live alone Grin

ThreeLocusts · 19/11/2021 23:03

The alarm bleep if moisture, heat, cold, anything really comes into contact with the controls of my ceran stove top ( they're integrated into the surface).

I swear whoever invented this kind of controls - they're widespread here in Belgium - was a bloke who never cooks. Bloody stupid, a liquid and heat intolerant object stuck in a stove top of all things.

MintyGreenDream · 19/11/2021 23:04

Most things atm I'm turning into a peri mardy cow

Justwhy123 · 19/11/2021 23:13

Family using the kitchen island as a dumping ground. Every bloody day.

DH and DC hiding the remote.

Empty toilet rolls being left in the bathrooms. Why?!?

CheshireChat · 19/11/2021 23:13

My son deliberat wearing mismatched PJs. Drives me mad, but of course it's U.

OhWhyNot · 19/11/2021 23:14

Hearing men baby talk

Should be a punishable offence with duck tape out over their mouths for a day. Ripping it off hurts too but thats the price for being an utter baby man twat

Women claiming they are high maintenance ffs get over yourself

CheshireChat · 19/11/2021 23:16

Oh and taking the hair of all his Playmobil characters, just why?!

GTAlogic · 19/11/2021 23:17

The bobbin thread ran out 6" before the end of my last seam when I was sewing tonight. That gave me feelings of rage.

An Asda lorry on the inside lane of the A1 this morning overtaking a long row of other lorries for miles. Because that stretch is only a dual carriageway no-one else could get past and had to trundle along at 56mph. It was the same coming home too.

A person in front of me driving at 20mph through a 30 zone made me rather ragey on my way home tonight too. Thank goodness I'm working somewhere else next week so I don't have to fight my way along the same journey!

CheshireChat · 19/11/2021 23:21

And my mum and DS in Asda today, both just randomly wandering off, neither of them paying any attention to my bewildered attempts to find out where the heck they're going. It was like herding freaking cats.

And then when we're finally all in one place, they both talk at the same time (to me), in different languages, about complete different things and both expect an answer. And I should remember the shopping list as wr8!

ParrotsAteThemAll · 19/11/2021 23:22

My toes getting in the way when putting tights/leggings/knickers on!

Shodan · 19/11/2021 23:22

DP using the tv menu wrong.

Instead of going to the main menu, where you can see 8 lines of programmes in one go, he presses 'OK' to bring up the stupid mini menu, which only shows 3 lines of programmes, then scrolls and scrolls and scrolls.

I've tried to snatch the control to stop him but he's much bigger than me and has thwarted every effort.

Shodan · 19/11/2021 23:23

Oh and leggings/running tights that droop, allowing precisely one inch of sweaty thigh below the crotch to rub against the other , requiring much hoicking and sweary muttering.

Ohmygodyesthatsit · 19/11/2021 23:27

When people on here say gently talk to your dh why gently i hate i feel patronised just reading it.

Ohmygodyesthatsit · 19/11/2021 23:27

So angry actually missed words out 😂

Flangeosaurus · 19/11/2021 23:35

The Tupperware drawer. Everything falling out and being unstackable and there’s never a lid to fit the bastard bloody box Angry

Also. I’m 5 days overdue and if ONE more person chirpily texts me saying “Any sign of the baby??” I can’t be held responsible for my actions.

CrazyTimesAreOccurring · 19/11/2021 23:36

People carrying dogs

The whole class being kept in for one or two kids messing about. Used to make me see red when I was a pupil, still did when I was a TA and now I am a teacher it infuriates me! It doesn't make the guilty kids feel remorse, they just have more company. And actually makes the teacher looks an idiot to the other kids.

Walking in spilt water when I have just put my socks on.

Being rudely woken by the alarm at 7am all week, then waking up by myself at 6.30am at the weekend.

FranklySonImTheGaffer · 19/11/2021 23:39

The words hun, bubs, hubby, obvs, chillax irritate me.

The stupid Heart fm advert with Amanda Holden screeching on it.

Groups who walk taking up the whole path and who don't move over to let you pass.

On mn specifically, when people reply to an OP with questions that have already been answered in the OP (a recent example was 'I have a 10yo dd who's been having this issue...' followed by the response 'how old is your dd? It's hard to offer advice without knowing if she's 3 or 13' ) FFS

Luredbyapomegranate · 19/11/2021 23:40

@Bimblepops

Saying “Happy Christmas” instead of “Merry Christmas”, just completely winds me up and has done for more than 30 years
This is impressively unreasonable 🥂
