I’m going to get up on Sunday morning before everyone else, as per usual but this Sunday, I’m want to make a big cup of coffee and enjoy a Xmas movie.
Any recommendations?

Christmas with the Kranks.....always puts me in festive mood🎄

Get Santa is a fantastic film with a huge cast of British actors. It's only a few years old but me and my DC absolutely love it. It's very funny. I would heartily recommend to anyone! And a lot of it was filmed in my home town too!

(Be careful though as I now have an enormous crush on Rafe Spall and cannot possibly imagine a better Santa than Jim Broadbent)

These suggestions are great. Just occurred to me.... Groundhog Day!!!

I'm loving the Christmas Prince range

Liverbird77 · 13/11/2021 15:49

Oooh yes to all of these, plus Mrs Miracle 2: Miracle in Manhattan, which is better than the first!

Jingle All The Way

I haven’t seen it in years. I hope its even cheesier than I remember.

The Holidate on Netflix is good!

DriftingBlue · 13/11/2021 16:11

Holidate

DH hates Christmas movies but he watched it with me and loved it. It’s totally cliche and funny at the same time. Definitely not for kids.

Hallmark or great Christmas movies channel, with a bingo card!

TheQuest · 13/11/2021 18:50

I searched for romantic Xmas movies in Netflix and wow, so many! I’ve seen love hard. It was very entertaining.
Holidate looks promising. I’m going for that one tomorrow.

Love the username!

I watched this about 30 years ago. From what I remember, it was very, very depressing before a happy ending, so I'm put off watching it again. Am I missing something because it's always recommended.

We are watching surviving Christmas at the moment. Bit rubbish but funny in places.
