You And Me Baby Ain't Nothing But Mammals... So let's do it like the do on the Discovery Channel!

Blue Dabadee - Eiffel 65, summer of 99, Mondello beach in Sicily. I can smell the ice cream!

@BingBongToTheMoon

I have a huge, tragic, soft spot for The ketchup song by las ketchup. (Including the dance moves).
Me too! No idea why...
myheartskippedabeat · 13/11/2021 03:39

@TheVolturi

l'amour toujours by gigi d'agostino
Claude François! 100% bangers. Wrap your eyes and ears around this beauty:
Love it! That's a great song!

I'll give you my favorite from the most gorgeous Miguel Bose from Spain, called "Don Diablo". It's not a disco classic but totally silly.

Where Do You Go - No Mercy
I might be wandering from the theme a little but .. "I've been to paradise but I've never been to me" (..a discontented mother and a regimented wife. Shock)
JerkintheMerkin · 13/11/2021 21:40

Love Voyage Voyage by Desireless.

RobertaFirmino · 13/11/2021 22:02

I loved Voyage Voyage and Freed From Desire too. I can also remember
Tarzan Boy by Baltimora
Rock Me Amadeus by Falco
Not really Europop but there was that Enigma, I think it was called Sadeness...

MrsJackGrealish · 13/11/2021 22:12

Gala - Freed from desire.

I also love Sandstorm and Mr vain.

Maladicta · 13/11/2021 22:21

We’ve heard this so many times at French campsite discos Grin Les démons de minuit

WildRosie · 15/11/2021 11:14

Words by F.R. David. 1983. I'm listening to it right now. What a great wee pop songSmile.

BorsetshireBanality · 15/11/2021 13:24

Saddle up - by David Christie - the tune I remember from visiting my sister in Paris in 1982!

She didn't have a telly so never saw the video until now - not the greatest dancing!
BorsetshireBanality · 15/11/2021 13:29

I've done routine in a Zumba class just like the dancing in that Claude François video - especially the arm movements at the start then sticking out one's bum Grin

CrepuscularCritter · 15/11/2021 14:28

Ride on Time for sure...many memories of a trip to Amsterdam. And also Nu Shooz - I can't wait.

BringMeTea · 15/11/2021 14:58

Dolce Vita or Boys Boys Boys.

Snowisfallinghere · 15/11/2021 15:05

Atemlos by Helene Fischer

Funny how she's astronomically famous in all German speaking countries but completely unknown in UK.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/11/2021 15:32

Almost anything by Falco - but probably not Rock Me Amadeus, as it's had so much airtime compared with all of his other stuff. Songs like Garbo, Satellite To Satellite, Out Of The Dark, Tango The Night, The Sound Of Musik.

I Am From Austria by Rainhard Fendrich - love it, makes me so emotional - and I am not from Austria!

Il Me Dit Que Je Suis Belle by Patricia Kaas.

Flugzeuge Im Bauch by Herbert Gronemeyer.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/11/2021 15:36

Sorry, RobertaFirmino - not a dig at you; I posted mine before I saw your choice! Rock Me Amadeus IS a cracking song - just a shame that it's the only one of his that most Brits have ever heard of.

VienneseWhirligig · 15/11/2021 15:39

Lots of these are played regularly on Heart Dance, DS has it on in his car for us to sing along enthusiastically Grin

Sash! Encore Une Fois
Dario G Sunchyme

SinisterBumFacedCat · 15/11/2021 16:09

Idea Haza - Im Nin Alu (does that count as euro pop?)

I’m going to build an amazing playlists

vampirethriller · 15/11/2021 16:50

Sash! Colour the World
Mauro Picotto, Komodo

ILoveShula · 15/11/2021 17:18

This is a favourite

DialSquare · 15/11/2021 17:26

I have two from my late 80s/ early 90s clubbing era.

Piano Fantasia - Song for Denise
Found Love - Double Dee

HaroldSteptoesHorse · 15/11/2021 19:36

Rock me Amadeus by Falco… on my life I swear he sings “cunt”

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/11/2021 20:57

Rock me Amadeus by Falco… on my life I swear he sings “cunt”

"Woher die Schulden kamen war wohl jedermann BEKANNT" - "it was plain to everybody where his debts came from".

The German pronunciation of the last syllable is pretty much indistinguishable from the said English word, I'll grant you!
