Post surgery gift hamper?

I have a friend about to have a hysterectomy. I wanted to make a little hamper with some things in that might be appreciated in the 6 weeks she has to have off work after the op. Fun, useful, comforting. Any ideas welcome. Especially from this who have been through it and know what felt good!

Interests are Disney, Harry Potter, Marvel, trashy Hallmark Christmas films, West End musicals, tea, classic literature.

Thanks in advance for any strokes of genius.

Adult colouring book (you can get Disney and HP ones) and a decent set of colouring pencils.
Puzzle/quiz book
Cleansing wipes
Dry shampoo
Fluffy blanket
Some nice loungewear type stuff - a night dress if her scar goes quite low, plus cosy bed socks.
Peppermint tea
Jigsaw

A promise to take a day off and drive her anywhere she wants and take her for lunch somewhere.

It's nearly 40 years since my mum had her hysterotomy and she really missed driving and being able to go out easily.

If the rules are the same my mum wasn't allowed to lift anything heavy so practical things like a kettle stand so she can make a hot drink, or if you have more money to spare a pod coffee machine (if she already has one then a few pods).

A cleaner, or go over and vacuum, obviously depending on what support she already has.

Sorry these are not really suggestions to fit in a hamper.

Ah these are all lovely ideas, thank you. The night dress is a very good call, I think she's mostly a pj's person. And a trip out for lunch would be great, I'll do a little voucher. 👍

If you're sure it will be welcome. I absolutely hate anyone making any sort of a fuss about me when I am in hospital / have surgery. Which happens to me multiple times a year as I have serious illnesses. I don't ever want presents or to be treated any differently so, for some people it wouldn't be something they want.

I had a hysterectomy a few months ago and was only off work for 2 weeks.
I did very much appreciate the Cook voucher from my friends. Other than that, the first week I slept a lot and the second was just normal with a lot less lifting and exertion than usual really.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 40 yrs old. I couldn't use the stairs so stayed on one floor, and mostly in bed for a week, then to a recliner.
She will be mostly resting in bed at first, or a chair, I would get her some those films she likes, unless she already has them, or an eBook version of them, or some classic lit. She can listen to device in bed. I would love that if it were me. I think they are great when somebody is not 100% healthwise. Does she eat fruit? Ideal, especially if she is home alone, it can be beside her and she won't have to try to get up and get food from the kitchen. Fluffy socks or booties, an electric throw or heated shoulder blanket thing to keep her warm and cosy if she keeps the place cool.

I guess those are more gifts, than treats. Homemade or bakery treats and some of her favorite tea...what about a small fruit bouquet?
