Dinner for 6 in Liverpool this Saturday... everywhere's booked up!

This is a birthday celebration and none of us live in Liverpool. Various mumsnetters recommended Bacaro, Lu-Ban, Mowgli, but they are booked up. I'm considering Baltic Market - they don't take any bookings though, will that be a problem?

Any other ideas?

Elite Bistros have a branch in Liverpool. I forget the name though.

Duke Street Market is also nice, no bookings but you can choose from different independent restaurant stalls. And it’s nice inside!

@GoodnightGrandma

Revolution de Cuba on Albert Dock was nice.

Been to the Manchester one and it was lush!!

You’ve left it too late OP .....those places that don’t take bookings usually can only accommodate up 2,3 or 4s as walk ins. I’m out to tea at Mowgli Water Street on Saturday.....it was booked 6 weeks ago....

Elif has a restaurant on queens drive at the fiveways roundabout, you may get in there?

Lark Lane may be worth a shot too. Lots of places to choose from. Are you staying in town OP or just visiting for a meal?

Thank you, everyone! I know I've left it too late... But the hood news is, I got a lovely-looking restaurant in the Albert Dock for the time we wanted. Phew! No idea what it'll be like but I'm glad it's in a nice location. As long as I can be with my friends, that's all I need!
