Can a minor injuries clinic do anything?

I have sciatica, problems on and off for 4 years since DD was born.

My left hip/back/buttocks have been sore for a couple of days but this afternoon has been agony. I've taken co-codamol but still a 7/10 pain. It's not an A&E problem and my GP won't be able to do anything but if I went to minor injuries, would they be able to do anything? Or am I better having a warm bath and an early night, hoping for the best?

Naproxen would be better for sciatica. See your GP in the morning.

I think the best thing you can do for sciatica is to keep moving and exercising. You’d be better off booking a course with a physio who will recommend exercises for you.

Meant to say, I'm allergic to all anti inflammatory drugs so no good there unfortunately. I saw an osteopath for a while and it made the daily pain a bit better but not this occasional agony.

GP, out of hours (111) if it's unbearable.

Try some gentle movement if possible, go on YouTube and look at exercises to ease sciatica (Yoga with Adriene highly recommended).

Ring 111 and get a go to ring you, may prescribe you something and send to 24hr pharmacy for you to pick up
