I was never a Numanoid back in the day but he did write and perform some classics. Are Friends Electric? is my favourite; the B-side - We Are So Fragile - is excellent. My other big favourite is We Are Glass.

Apparently, David Bowie and Kraftwerk were among his major influences.

Clearly still a popular artist. The piano version of Down In The Park is a nice tune, although GN himself doesn't play it. I think it was Dennis Haines.

Been a fan since '80. Seen him well over 100 times. Met him loads at aftershow parties etc. Got over 1100 vinyl.
Love the early stuff and the Middle Years but his new (now old and boring) sound is bland. Shame he has to Dad dance/mime around the stage with a wig that only resembles a Bearskin hat.

Yes - but preferred Kraftwerk. Not the greatest live act I've seen but the music made up for it.

Also loved John Foxx and the early pre Ure Ultravox.

Prob my fav artist, been with him since teletour 80. Big fan of the recent stuff…Intruder is really rather good IMO. Now and forever the highlight. Going to see him at Wembley next year.

I love Now and Forever 😍. Intruder is the go to album in my car ( no pun intended).

Went to an airshow where GN was flying his Corsair. I was lucky enough to be admitted to the pilots enclosure due to connections at the time.

Their were two 'Numanettes' outside the rope and they asked me to hand them the empty drinks can he had just thrown in the trash. I did.
