Has anyone ever attempted a Bob Ross-style painting?

And if so, how did it turn out? I'm very tempted to have a go, as he makes it look so easy. I've never been much good at art, but thought it looked like something I could try.

Is it difficult? Did you have any happy accidents??

I love Bob Ross! I started oil painting in May as a way of dealing with stress and have learnt a lot from him, although he makes it look a lot easier than it actually is. His way of painting clouds is really effective. This is a painting I'm currently working on and I used his fluffy little cloud technique on it!
