Just woke up, DD11 and DS8 are chilling in their rooms. DD has drama club today so DH will take her to that. I'm going to do some crafting with DS and clean the bathrooms. Then watch a film. Quiet night in tonight.

Breakfast- wanted pancakes but no eggs. So porridge with fruit
Lunch- baked potato with toppings
Dinner- possibly a takeaway 🤔

Coffee and a mince pie for breakfast. Hoping to have the will power to sort my office (spare room) out today.

PinkFizz1 · 06/11/2021 08:55

Love these threads.

I’m just up, DP taking DSD swimming soon and I’ll have a tidy up. Going to get my nails done then a chilled night later.

Breakfast - coffee!
Lunch - baked potato
Dinner - Homemade pizzas

Hen2018 · 06/11/2021 08:55

I’ve got to clean the hens out then I’m taking my son and his friend to watch their football team play a much more famous team in a way higher league in an FA cup match this afternoon...

misslomi · 06/11/2021 08:57

DP is off on his bike with his dad and I'm at home studying. Will meet my mum later for a walk and a coffee. Night in tonight, will probably have a long bath then watch a film.

Breakfast - Croissant, yoghurt and fruit
Lunch - Sandwich/pesto pasta
Dinner - Chinese takeaway

Baconking · 06/11/2021 09:02

Dh is at work today - he set out at 6.30am so he’s not home until around 2.30pm. There’s just me and 7yo dd awake at the minute. The 17 and 14 year old are still asleep. I’m just waiting for my Tesco shop to be delivered within the next hour then me and my youngest are going into town. I need to get my nails done and dd wants some new pyjamas and a fluffy jumper.

Then it’s back home, clean the house, do the laundry and get uniforms ironed for the week. I’ll try to get to the gym late afternoon once dh is home from work then dd wants her friend from next door but one to have a sleepover. I’ve no idea what the teen DD’s plans for the day are yet. Food will probably be:

Breakfast - porridge
Lunch - will probably go to a cafe in town
Dinner - sausage, mash, veg and gravy

We’ve had pancakes and eggs for breakfast this morning.

I have a home game today against Campion, they’re above us in the league and have had a good season so far, so we have our work cut out.

As soon as the match is over we’re headed to Grandmas to spend the night there.

I'm currently drinking my cuppa in silence; the only sounds are the fridge humming & wind in the tree in my garden. It's bliss!

Neither of the girls was fussed about doing much today, but they are helping make pizza wheels for tea later on & maybe finishing off the sparklers in the garden.

There's uniforms waiting to be washed, last night's pots, and the downstairs floors to do. I plan to spring into action at 9:30 to make a start on those.

Other than that; I'm going to while away the day crafting I think. I may make the Christmas cards for family maybe, or carry on with my crochet village.

Breakfast will be waffles when the girls surface (I think, since I was talked into buying them at Asda last night).
Dinner will be the noodle pots we bought, followed by donuts, and tea is pizza wheels with whatever sides they fancy.

Have a lovely Saturday everyone :)

Day 2 of a migraineEnvy just ordered dd9 a McDonald's breakfast and some hash browns for me! A day on the sofa with the ice pack I think.

nousernamehere01 · 06/11/2021 09:12

Maybe a walk this evening to see the fireworks, for breakfast I had my leftover birthday cake 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm 6 months pregnant with a toddler and my partner is doing an extra day at work after being on late shift for the past three weeks and I am over it! Give me all the cake 😂

I guess I'll try for something a bit more substantial for lunch and dinner, who knows what at this point though!

We are awaiting PCR results today for my daughter, she's snotty and coughing, 10 week old also snotty and coughing. No one has slept well. Still in bed with them both, daughter watching her iPad, baby surgically attached to my boob. Husband just brought us cinnamon swirls for breakfast!
We don't have much food in, meant to be doing a click and collect for Asda later but probably won't manage it now so will have to make do!

Veryverycalmnow · 06/11/2021 09:17

DS(4) is busy drawing and I'm lounging on the sofa with a coffee. Really relaxing.
Our plans for today have changed from busy trek into the city to meet friends, to now staying at home, as they have covid. Might see if there's anything on for DS locally, but he's pretty happy for now.
Smile
Breakfast: jam on toast
Lunch: sausage sandwich
Tea: pizza

fitflopqueen · 06/11/2021 09:24

Walk with dog to see FIL and take him a paper.

Have some displaced bulbs to replant if it stays dry.
Brunch Banana pancakes with Blueberries.
Dinner Spanish style meatballs and potatoes with a spinach salad. Maybe a crumble for pud.
Strictly on then early night.

mattyann · 06/11/2021 09:47

We have a quiet day at home planned today.

Starting the big pre Christmas sort out and clean so probably a few trips to the recycling centre.

Full cooked breakfast for brunch
Fajitas for tea.

I'm currently cuddled up with a coffee searching online for some Fairy lights. The house looks so stark after taking the Halloween decorations down, I need something to bridge the gap until the Christmas decorations go up 🧐.

Justonedayatatime11 · 06/11/2021 10:54

DD has gone off to her dads for the weekend. DH has been ill all week and I've not slept for more than a couple of hours since last Sunday. I think it'll be a very lazy weekend with not a lot to do. Breakfast was coffee, no idea what we'll have for lunch or dinner but whatever it is will need to be quick and easy! Currently curled up with a cat asleep on my lap enjoying the peace and quiet!

Haudyourwheesht · 06/11/2021 11:35

I'm hiding in my bedroom from the kids who have been fighting all morning. Weather here is dreadful so won't be venturing out until we go swimming this afternoon. I'm hoping DH will sort lunch while I'm hiding. Then steak, chips and a very large glass of wine for tea.

lousanne · 06/11/2021 11:44

@Doje I love these threads, but have no idea why they're so engaging!'

Because no one is responding to another message (apart from me now Grin) and we are processing new information with every new message Smile so we are looking forward to reading a new post because it'll be totally new and not someone 'carrying on' from several posts ago.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 06/11/2021 11:49

Very true!

It's also the slightly mundane (no offence!) chat which is comforting.

Chocolate chip 🍪 cookies are baking in the oven. Yum
