What would you have as an easy treat dinner? Home alone

Any suggestions? I'm home alone, don't want a takeaway. Going to morrisons later and I can't think what I fancy. Something easy but feels like a treat.

Great suggestions, thankyou! I think I'll go with fresh pasta as we don't have that as a family and I nice dessert, maybe a gu pot.

Another vote for steak/wine
M&S do a lovely little French cheese selection - perfect with crackers and something like quince jelly/paste
My absolute fave is 6 super-fresh scallops (with roe) fried briskly in butter, with a smidge of garlic, lemon juice and deglazed with the nice white wine you are drinking with it. Served with undressed salad of watercress/rocket/baby spinach, cucumber and fennel, and a slice of good crusty bread. Yum.

I always do scallops with pasta, as my husband doesn’t like them much. I never manage to get the cooking spot on, though, and am always slightly disappointed.

I halve a courgette and bake with something nice on (any pesto type thing or artichokes from a jar / sun dried toms or something ) and goats cheese Or mozarella .
