Breakfast options at Disneyland Paris?

Have stupidly just noticed that breakfast is not included in our booking (hotel Cheyenne) to add on 2 adults and four children for four mornings it's £405!!!
Can anyone give me any ideas for other options?
It's been about 10 years since we've been and can only remember one small shop at the train station that we could maybe pick something up walking to the park?
Or if the restaurants in the Disney village are cheaper for breakfast?
None of us as big eaters first thing so cereal bars and croissants etc out a shop would do I fine I would think.

How are you travelling? Could you take things with you? We took lots of carton drinks, snacks etc for inside the parks to save money and also as it was quicker and easier to have these as we queued rather than queueing again in the food places.

If you’re happy with cereal bars, I would take them with you. Otherwise, (and I’m talking about prior to Covid so you may want someone who has been more recently to help) there are a couple of places on Main St to get breakfast - there was a deal of hot drink, juice, croissant and fruit for less than 10 Euro when we were there last (2019).

There is a petrol station with a small shop near the entrance to The Cars hotel, which is fairly close to Cheyenne. Take a suitcase and stock up?

There's a big supermarket one stop away on the train. Everything is dirt cheap there. Maybe you could stock up there?

ElleStartingOver · 26/10/2021 10:29

There are little coffee shops just inside the park, we got coffee and a croissant there most mornings.

BerryPieandCustard · 26/10/2021 10:34

I’m off next month (fingers crossed) but have a meal plan. I have visited with out one though and there are counter service restaurants in the park where you can get hot drinks and pastries. There is also a Mc Donald’s in the Village.
Cheyenne is just across from Santa Fe and If you go to the front of Santa Fe where the shuttle busses are out walk out of the gate and to the left there is a petrol station where you may find something suitable but is also good for buying a bottle of drink and snack for later in the day and you want to avoid park prices.

If you’re on Facebook there is a group Disneyland Paris for Brits where you can find loads of advice on anything and everything Disneyland Paris and ask questions specific to your trip.

The Earl of sandwich (think that's what it's called!) bear McDonald's was the best food we found that was sensibly priced.
There's also the convenience shop/cafe in the train station that was more reasonably priced than the shops in the park.

Stickyblue1987 · 26/10/2021 11:43

We drove so took breakfast bits- fruit, cereal, tea, coffee, breakfast bars and long life milk. We're not big breakfast people so most days we waited until lunch.

ipswichwitch · 26/10/2021 12:00

There’s a shop and a baguette place in the train station just outside the gates. We’d often stop there on the way into the park and get baguettes and stuff to take in and they were nice, and relatively cheap too.

MrsFionaCharming · 26/10/2021 23:17

I wouldn’t waste time eating inside the park. First thing is when the queues are shortest - last time we were there we managed Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates, and Indiana Jones all in the first hour before the queues filled up.

If you don’t mind eating whilst standing, I’d buy some pastries or something in advance, get there early so you’re at the front of the line to get in, and eat them whilst waiting for the gates to open.

You can’t take milk (dairy) or meat into France now.

Thanks everyone that's given me a few ideas. We're flying so can't take too much but will manage cereal bars for morning one while we suss out everything. Does anyone know if there's water fountains in park?

Not at present. (Was there 2 weeks ago.)

Covid risk.

Rummikub · 27/10/2021 15:48

I just remember massive queues for coffee and croissants. And McDonald’s so we avoided that
Took cereal bars with us.

NavigatingAdolescence · 27/10/2021 16:02

Starbucks in the Village wasn’t busy before 9am. They do parties, Yogurts and pancakes.

NavigatingAdolescence · 27/10/2021 16:03

Pastries, not parties!

Caramellatteplease · 27/10/2021 16:08

Bear in mind that whilst adding breakfast may be disproportionately expensive if you intend to have one other meal in the parks, hotel or village half board is surprisingly good value

andadietcoke · 27/10/2021 16:09

Starbucks do a breakfast meal deal that was really reasonable. We did that most mornings.

gogohm · 27/10/2021 16:22

There's a supermarket not too far, I had the car so not sure how long on foot but 20 mins perhaps. Or there's always McDonald's.
