My phone dropped into a bath

Need help! My phone just dropped into a bath. I immediately took it out, but I'm scared it won't work. I turned it off. What should I do next? It's an iPhone, there is no battery to take it out? Do I still have hope cause it's Apple? Are they really water resistant?

Take out anything that can be taken out so sim card, memory card etc and prop it in the airing cupboard, ports downwards.

I dropped my old blackberry in the washing up water. Took the battery out, stuffed a sock in there and left it in the airing cupboard for a few nights.

It still worked and eventually all the lights behind the buttons gradually came back on and it was still going strong a year later.

I dropped mine down the toilet. It wasn't happy.

I dropped mine in a hot cup of tea! It didn't survive! 🤦🏼‍♀️
