Stressed - how can I save time/be more efficient?

I work full time and have two primary age kids, also a single mum. I'm exhausted every week and need to find some time savers. I'm going to try Tesco deliveries instead of in person shopping, plus I do laundry in evenings instead of saving all until weekend.

House still looks messy and my hours seem to be increasing, does anyone have any tips for saving time and making life easier? Maybe I need a cleaner?

Get a Roomba for the floors? That's been a huge help here. I'd definitely advise getting the one that does the mapping, rather than the less expensive version that follows a random pattern.

Defintely get a cleaner if you can afford it, even if you just have them do certain areas.

I find it a pita but meal planning on a Sunday for all meals really helps. Less waste, less thinking during the week. Cook double and use as leftovers or freeze.

Things that have helped me:

Decluttering house (took a whole weekend but totally worth it, so much easier to keep tidy now)
Use dishwasher if you have one, don't waste time washing up. Just load it throughout the day as you use things then put it on in the evening
Meal planning - easy family meals like one pot shove in the oven meals, eg casseroles, ragus, pies (less washing up after too!)
Have a 14 day food rota, with online food shopping lists aligned to each applicable week (picked that tip up on MN, does not feel monotonous at all)
Make a family tradition and have a Friday night pizza night or something similar - kids will love it and there's minimum washing up or hassle for you
Online food shopping delivered to your door
Online shopping just generally wherever possible
Once a week: do paperwork/filing/pay bills. Takes about 15 minutes a week once the initial mountain of paperwork has been tackled
If you have a garden: get a gardener for once in the spring to tidy beds ready for summer, once in midsummer to weed beds, and once in autumn to cut back beds and dig over for winter. Then all you have to worry about is cutting lawn, if you have one.

I don't have a cleaner but am seriously thinking about getting one, even just for a couple of hours once a fortnight to do a decent clean.
