Tower of London and blue Peter badges

Looks like TOL is one of the few places you can get two kids (both with BP badges) in with one paying adult. This is what the BBC/ BP site says

Anyone had experience of this being true?

Ticket booking faq says I should buy the adult ticket and they will admit the child on the day but I'm wary of doing this and finding out they won't let both kids in.

We did this but it was a few years ago.

Only one child here, but I went over the summer with DS and his blue peter badge. Booked my ticket online and just went to the gate with his badge and photocard and they admitted us, no problem.

Thank you. We will give it a go. If I have to pay for one child on the door that's ok so long as we get in!

I took both my children to Hampton Court Palace as a single adult using blue Peter badges. One child is a wheelchair user so I was given a free carer place. That was a lovely cheap day out.
