Best grey shade for bathroom

Hello all,

Yes very boring but having to sell a relatives property & we are just painting it all.

What's a nice grey for the bathroom? I'd rather something fairly light but not too pale.

I love it but not sure everyone else does 😆

I have two friends who work in interior design. One has a pale pink bathroom and the other has just painted hers a very soft, dusky pink. Both say it's becoming popular. Both bathrooms look really lovely!

I have Farrow and Ball Ammonite in my bathroom upstairs - it is a beautiful colour and doesn't seem to fit in the "grey" that is being done to death at the moment - it is very pale grey.

so many grey roomed houses on Rightmove. Our current house had battleship grey skirting boards and radiators in some rooms, with pink paint 🤮 Wasn't one piece of white skirting board/ door trim in house. Took ages putting it back to white.

Ha! The previous owner of our house was really miffed when she saw we'd painted all the skirting boards and architrave as she'd painted them all white to sell the house. I don't like white ones they look like icing on a cake to me.

We looked into pink for the bathroom but thought it would age too fast. As the pink would be mirrored in some of the tiles it would be impossible to change easily.

Hence sticking with a more classic blue theme.

For just painted walls a light pink or lilac may look really nice. But I find that men do stay away from these colours.
