Husband snoring

So hubby snores at night and I BF DS but every time DS drifts back off to sleep the snoring ramps up and disturbs DS. What can a mother do?
DH sleeps on his back all night so I'm guessing that doesn't help things but he won't sleep any other way.
Have you got any advice on how we can sort this out please?!

Sew a tennis ball into the back of his pjs

Sleep in a different room or use soft earplugs

Sleep train him! I find a gentle nudge/shake and saying, "can you turn onto your side, you're snoring" soon works.

Sleep separately

I'm the snorer in our family. I've recently (two days ago) started using the app from https://www.snorelab.com

"To record and track snoring ... and discover solutions"

Is he overweight, does he drink regularly, smoke?

Grumpylate20s · 17/10/2021 21:16

He's not overweight, doesn't smoke or drink much.
I think it has something to do with how deep he sleeps cos he does not wake when our Son cries or stirs unlike myself

In the way that mothers sleep but maintain an awareness or alertness that their baby may need them, there are men who can sleep on duty (including but not restricted to uniformed services) still alert.

'He' may sleep so soundly because he knows you are there to respond to the baby.
