If I have a pack of chicken thighs....

... what's something new I can do with them?

I usually make mini-roasts, or coat them in a teriyaki sauce. :)

Love some top tips!

Only specifications is that one DS has sensory issues around food so we need to go easy on the spice.

Very grateful for any thoughts!

@SixTwirlingTutus - how was the chicken in cider?

SixTwirlingTutus · 18/10/2021 14:08

Oh I sadly did not get a picture!

The chicken in cider was incredible. I could not find leeks so used onions. i also added mushrooms as they needed to be used up. Other than that I followed the recipe you kndly posted @KeyLimePies and it was just divine. So tasty and rich yet not so rich the Dcs could not cope with it. I had it with mash that I added some left over cream to and the Dcs had it with plain rice as is their preference. It was AMAZING and I am definitely going to add it to my regular rotation. The other advantage is that I bought a 6 pack of cider for it and am looking forward to a glass tonight. :)

I am doing steak tonight with a peppercorn cream sauce, and then am persuding the thread for chicken thigh recipe tomorrow. :) I was using skin on and bone in thighs incidentally.

Thank you so much- I commented to (vegetarian) DH last night 'I think this is one of the best things I have ever made!'. Grin
