What's your favourite biscuit at the moment?

It's that time of year when I have even more cups of tea and coffee than usual and of course a biscuit to go with it.

I'm shamefully addicted to Milka chocolate moos but what other biscuity delights am I missing out on?

@TheFoz Sainsbury's own and Lidl or Aldi. I cannot afford Jacobs or McVities. Don't rain on my parade!

M&S Belgian Curls which remind me of Barmouth biscuits from my childhood. Both are similar to French 'langues de chat' biscuits.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 16/10/2021 21:53

Lotus caramelised biscuit or a tunnocks caramel wafer not interested in any others

Karwomannghia · 16/10/2021 21:53

Love that you said at the moment.
I can’t taste or smell anything due to covid but eating custard creams has still given me pleasure - it is a many textured thing- and I could feel my body reacting in a kind of comfort way.

GaolBhoAlba · 17/10/2021 13:03

Borders dark chocolate gingers. For dunking, a bourbon or custard cream.

RampantIvy · 17/10/2021 13:06

Shortbread. IMO shortbread is the king/queen of biscuits. A good shortbread has only three ingredients - flour, sugar and butter.

I love biscuits, but don't keep them in the house because I would be the size of a house Grin

Lu Petit Beurre Salted Butter Biscuit

They are so buttery with just the right amount of salt. I adore them which is proving difficult for my weight loss goal!

I just came onto say this too. Love them.

longtompot · 17/10/2021 17:34

@midsomermurderess

Little stroopwaffles.
I had one earlier. I say one, but after eating it for a while and wondering why the two wafers were coming apart I realised it was two stuck together! The last two in the packet are completely stuck too.

@HowardNoir I especially like the chocolate heart ones filled with jam dipped in a good red wine at Christmas. Delish.
