Whole piles of presents that won't get used!!!

What do you do with them? DD had a whole class party which has resulted in 20 presents. 8 of them art kits and DD has ripped into most already so cannot charity shop most. We have loads of these sets for DS that never get used.
What would you do with them? We have a very small house!

Ask “no gifts please” in the future. We yet have to get a part present that is actually played with, so its been “no gifts please” for the last 3 years. Amazing (and most other parents have followed)

How/why has she ripped into all of them if she isn't going to use them?? Either stop her from opening everything and then abandoning them or pop them in a cupboard as others have said for a rainy day or when friends are round.

I'd just have a craft afternoon. She would probably get through loads of the sets in a couple of hours with an adult to support her. My dc have always been opening to sharing presents of that sort with siblings.

Would your daughter not like to just use them?

Those little kits take all of about 30 minutes to do. Do one or two a week (probably more over the holidays) and she'll be done by Christmas!
Your daughter will have great fun! And yes, as PPs suggested, she could always invite a friend or two round to join her.

I agree with this. We get through lots of these during the holidays. My DC wouldn’t think just to get them out and start doing them; I will tell them that today we’re doing xyz and they enjoy doing them. She must like the look of them if she’s opened them.

All the art ones would get used in my house, invite a friend for the afternoon or 1 a day in half term
