DD hates wearing polo shirts for school - any ideas?

It would be fair to say that DD doesn't love school. Some of what she doesn't like is beyond my control but a consistent issue every morning is that she really does not like having to wear a polo shirt. I thought it might be the material so bought her some more traditional-style school blouses but she doesn't like those either.

Has anyone else had this issue and is it worth persevering or are there alternatives that would be worth a try?

She doesn't have sensitive skin so I don't think that's the issue.

My DD wears blouses because she finds the polo shirt material too rough. She has these jersey ones for gym days.

DD is also slim so lots of bunching on skirts, she often wears a pinafore instead.

Or could she wear trousers in the winter if she doesn't like tights?

Reward chart, praise her to the skies when she wears them. All part of being a big girl at school etc. Do you know her new friends and their mums? Try and get involved and make it fun for both if you.

My 7 year old hates his polo shirts because he is frightened of buttons. He insists on his jumper covering them up at the neck.
Not sure what to make of him tbh. 🙄
