Egg custard tarts, I've tried every store and my top ones for taste are Tesco and Morrisons. I can eat a 4 pack one after the other and still crave more 🥴

FortunaMajor · 11/10/2021 09:56

I panic bought Lebkuchen for Xmas and may have panic eaten them already. Now banned from buying more until mid-Dec.

Ben and Jerrys Phish food
Haagen dazs salted caramel
Mint choc chip ice cream, Aldi's specially selected is very nice!
Pop chips in salt and vinegar
Share bags skips (the sainsburys own brand large bag)
Large box of maltesers
Twiglets
Angel delight - will let it set then eat the whole bowl full
Tiger bread - can eat 5 or 6 slices
Those liquorice sticks filled with fondant, especially the apple/blueberry/strawberry flavour sticks

Underamour · 11/10/2021 11:03

I am making it now- sadly the kids love it more than me and so I am lucky yo get a bite. Pulled beef- boil the beef for 8 hours on a low heat in water with Rosemary, basil, salt, pepper and garlic(anything else you like too). The beef falls apart in your hands it’s so soft and infused with amazing flavour.

Also today have a very strong urge today to saute a huge bag of tomatoes and red pepper for 15 minutes with seasoning then a little melted mozzarella on top. Indescribably good.

Feta cheese!

Enchanteddreams · 11/10/2021 11:56

Recently its been Angel slices. But normally its Jaffa cakes. Bubblegum ice lollies, I find them so addictive.. When I was a kid it was quavers. I'd have one bag and id sneak more to my room and eat them.

BlueThursday · 11/10/2021 12:05

Jaffa cakes; they’re designed to be eaten by the dozen

Laska2Meryls · 11/10/2021 12:12

Oh and Mashed potato with butter.. I f I make a pot of it, I eat a pot of it...

Ellarain · 11/10/2021 12:15

Crisps
White bread

amillionrosepetals · 11/10/2021 12:40

Any kind of sharing bag of chocolate. My brain can't tell the difference between these bags and a bag of crisps so I eat them as if they were a bag of crisps. Last week it was Terrys white chocolate orange, this week it's Cadbury's twisted buttons.

beautifullymad · 11/10/2021 12:51

Historically fresh doughnuts. I'd buy the 5 pack ones from Tesco, fresh that morning and they were stretchy they were that fresh. Then I'd get a can of fresh squirty cream and fill them as they expanded when fresh.

Trouble is they taste so good and once I'd had two or three I had to eat the evidence....

Helpel · 11/10/2021 12:55

Honey roasted salted cashews. So calorific, but once the bag is open, there's no stopping. My husband calls them 'crack nuts'

MarmiteyCrumpets · 11/10/2021 13:04

Well, I've just eaten a large packet of chutney crisps for lunch. Does that answer your question? Grin

There’s a little cafe near me that make them by hand ❤️❤️ They are AMAZING.
Shallwegoforawalk · 11/10/2021 13:51

Definitely savoury for me:

Sensations crisps. The balsamic flavour is amazing.

Pork pie(s) - those mini packs from M&S are gone before I leave the car park.

Proper fresh bread form our local deli with butter from the local farm. Omg heaven.

Philly cheese and chilli jam on oatcakes.

Not bothered by chocolate! Probably because it's DH's crack and never stays in the cupboard long enough for me to get some!

HereticFanjo · 11/10/2021 16:17

Crisps. Any crisps. All the crisps!

thereisonlyoneofme · 11/10/2021 16:20

M &S Banana and sultana/almond muffins/ Luckily they come singly if they came in a box of four or six I would be finished.
The two lots of sweets for £1 in our co-op. Sometimes Im good and buy one and the cashier reminds me that I could have two, of course I stick to the one Wink

Echofallen · 11/10/2021 16:22

M&S redcurrant puffs! Could easily eat the whole packet at once Blush

ChipsNCurry · 11/10/2021 16:26

Aldi stollen.

Bought a packet this morning- it seems to have all gone 🧐

lalalawa · 11/10/2021 16:27

A tiger baguette

FranklySonImTheGaffer · 11/10/2021 16:31

Cadbury's chocolate fingers
Packs of mini trifles
Doritos
Pistachio nuts

I've proven to myself consistently that I have no self control so they do not get brought into the house unless we've specifically set aside a film night - then I'm allowed whatever I want!
